VirtualizeIT delivered a server virtualization and consolidation project at AIB which allowed a greenIT policy to be achieved without cost and efficiency penalties. From a position of server growth of 100 units a year, the project has resulted in 570 servers being virtualized in place of buying new systems.

In Ireland, it is estimated that IT emissions account for up to 8 per cent of the country’s energy expenditure. VirtualizeIT’s business message is one of reduced utility costs and space usage … both focused on reducing the carbon footprint of IT departments.
